Welcome to the website of the Optometrists Registration Board of Victoria ("ORBV").

The ORBV is the statutory authority established by the Victorian Parliament to protect the public - in relation to services provided by optometrists in Victoria - by registering optometrists, investigating their professional conduct and fitness to practise and regulating the advertising of optometry services.

The website is designed to assist the public and optometrists understand rights and obligations contained in the Health Professions Registration Act 2005.
